Nutrikids

The Livonia Central School Food Service Department is making changes which will better serve students in our District. 

Our in-school meal service has implemented an electronic meal system called NutriKids.


BENEFITS OF THE NUTRIKIDS SYSTEM:

  • Meal lines will be more efficient because there is little money being exchanged. 
  • Students do not have to worry about losing or protecting their money.
  • Confidentiality is maintained for participants in the National School Lunch Program.
  • It is an efficient and effective way for us to meet your child's needs now and in the future.

OPTIONAL ONLINE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:

NEW - Effective November 15, 2012

The Livonia Central School Food Service Department has some changes to our online account management system.

My Nutri-kids .com has recently been sold to Heartland Payment Solutions, School Solutions (mySchoolbucks.com). The district will be transitioning to www.myschool bucks.com on November 15, 2012. There will be a short lag time of 48 hours where mynutrikids.com will be locked to allow the migration to MySchoolBucks.com.

Once completed parents will be automatically redirected to https://www.myschoolbucks.com where they can resume making online payments. Parents will also receive an introductory email with additional information about mySchoolBucks.com along with basic instructions on how to use the website.

You will continue to use your existing MyNutrikids.com username and password on mySchoolbucks. All children associated with your account will remain unchanged.


Things to know about mySchoolBucks:

  • The convenience fee per transaction will change to $1.95.
  • mySchoolBucks has the following payment methods available for use:
  • Visa®
  • Mastercard®
  • Discover®
  • Electronic Check
  • Parents may fund up to $120 per student, but a family may pay for all of their students on a single transaction.
  • Due to legal requirements, we are unable to transfer automatic e-mail notifications.  If parents previously setup low balance email alerts in MyNutrikids.com, they will need to set those up on mySchoolBucks.
  • The MyKids (MyNutrikids.com) Service Agreement will be replaced with an agreement from Heartland Payment Systems.  This agreement covers provisions from each of the credit card brands, as well as various legal requirements.
