Welcome to the Livonia High School Parent Page!
For important dates and information, please check the High School home page.
Being a parent of a high-schooler means that you may be getting pretty limited information about school. As principal of the high school and a parent of three children, I urge you to be more involved than ever. Using this page will help you know some of the important information that we want to share with you.
Did you know research studies have found that the more teens have dinner with their parents, the less likely teens are to smoke, drink or do drugs? They are also more likely to graduate from high school. The conclusion of Building a Better Teenager, a 2002 Child Trends report based on hundreds of studies provided great insight into raising a teenager. It found that the most academically motivated and socially responsible teens, the ones least likely to engage in risky behavior, are those who enjoy warm and involved relationships with their parents and whose parents monitor their activities in age-appropriate ways.
Our goal is to partner with parents to help our students develop their fullest potential.
