Parents of incoming Freshman

As a parent of an incoming 9th grader, we welcome you to our high school family. Do you remember when you helped your child learn to walk? You held your child's hand and watched carefully as he/she took those first few steps. Now as your child gets ready to enter high school, he/she needs your help in a different way. High school is an important step in your child's life. Just as you helped with those first baby steps you can now help your child take the steps that lead to a successful high school graduation and beyond.

Our goal is to help parents and students make the transition to high school as easy as possible.  We believe the more information you and your son/daughter have, the better the transition to high school.  We have scheduled a parent information meeting for all incoming 9th grade parents on Tuesday, January 8, 2008.  Specific information regarding this meeting will be mailed home to you in December.  Starting with the 2nd quarter report card, we will be sending information about the high school in all of the 8th grade progress reports.

Any questions or concerns can be addressed to Karen Bennett, High School Principal at Kbennett@livoniacsd.org or at 346-4000 extension 1002.
