Clubs and Activities- New Announcements 


Students interested in our exchange trip to Madrid, Spain for next year should see Mr. Makepeace or their Spanish teacher for information.  Letters of interest are due this Friday, May 16th.

Any students interested in taking a lifegurd course, registration forms are now available on the pool bulletin board and on line.  Please see Mrs. Donals if you have any questions.  There will also be a waterfront course offered on Wednesday, May 21st from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Senior Announcements

Any senior who ordered graduation announcements can pick them up on Thursday, May 22nd during lunches.

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society of women educators offers a scholarship to a young woman who is enrolled in college with a mojor in education.  Please see Mrs. Torrey for more information.

Senior planning to major in Architecture in college, there is a scholarship opportunity available in the Counseling Center.

The Lakeville United Church of Christ Social Justice Award is available for all seniors to apply.  Check the scholarship board to see if you meet the criteria.

The Livonia Teachers' Association awards two scholarships of $500.00 each to graduating seniors who are planning to attend college and have need of financial assistance.  Please see Mr. Lewis in Room 108 to get an application.  (You do not have to be related to a teacher or be going into education to receive this scholarship.)

Attention Seniors - We are in need of primary and intermediate school class pictures.  The senior slide show is right around the corner and we want everyone to share their memories.  If you have any pictures of you and your classmates that fall in that time frame, please hand them into Mrs. Busch or Mrs. Villone.

Seniors planning a major that will involve working with persons with Developmental Disabilities - such as Special Education Teacher, Physical Therapist, Speech, or Music Therapy - there is a scholarship opportunity available in the counseling Center.

Sports-New Announcment

Anyone who is interested in trying out for JV or Varsity Cheerleading for the 2008 fall football season is invited to an Open Gym Night this Monday, May 19th at 5:00 pm in the Primary School Gym.  This will be a fun night of learning and reviewing the basics necessary for any cheerleader.  Even if you have tried out before, this is a whole new season with a new start, so come on out and experience cheerleading for yourself!
