Mars Exploration Student Data Team

Because of the Sr. High School science classes participation in the Mars Exploration Student Data Team (MESDT) program, two team members have been invited to participate in the Lunar and Planetary Science Conference (LPSC) held in Houston, Texas, near the Johnson Space Center,  during the week of March 9th through the 14th.

The two student representatives of the MESDT team are Dan Schmitt and Eric Morgan. They will be accompanied on the trip by Mr. Brian Sheldon. This trip has been made possible by Livonia Exceptional Education Program (LEEP), who's purpose is to provide Livonia Central School students with real life experiences in the sciences, arts, and humanities.

This is certainly an exciting opportunity for these students. If you'd like to learn more about the MESDT team, contact Mr. Lewis or Mr. Sheldon.
