Dr. Anthony L. Petraglia visits
Livonia for a concussion discussion.
Anthony L. Petraglia is a PGY5 resident in neurosurgery. He attended medical school at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and graduated with honors in 2007. He was elected to AOA. Anthony completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago, graduating in 2002 with a BA in Biology and Neuroscience specialization. He is currently completing a Neurological Sports Medicine Fellowship. His research has focused on traumatic brain injury and concussion. Clinically he is interested in Spine Surgery and General Neurosurgery.
Athletic Department Philosophy
The mission of the Livonia Central School District athletic department is to create programs which focus on the total development of the student-athlete. Livonia athletic programs will focus on enhancing the character of our students. Students should demonstrate a degree of self-discipline and self-sacrifice for the attainment of team goals. Students must demonstrate respect for the rights of others, good sportsmanship, and respect for authority. Livonia athletes will also value commitment, honesty, hard work, and teamwork. We believe the combination of athletics and academics will enhance the lives of our students and provide them with the tools they need to be successful in the future.
