Dawg Pound at Football game

The following guidelines are being shared with our students and athletic supervisors as our athletic seasons move indoors for the winter.

  1.  Keep cheering positive. No profanity or degrading language/gestures. This means no targeting players, officials or fans.  Keep things positive! 4:1 ratio. 
  2. Avoid actions that offend visiting teams or individual players. This means no targeting players, officials or fans. 
  3. Show appreciation of good play by both teams.  This means to cheer with Positive Messages/Chants!  
  4. No “Warm up the bus,” or Hey, hey goodbye,” or “Boring….Boring,” chants
  5. Learn the rules of the game in order to be a better-informed spectator.  This means to not yell or scream negative things about the rules or an official’s call. 
  6. Treat all visiting teams and spectators as guests and show respect. This means to spread the Love!!!  Be respectful and show how classy we are as a school/community! 
  7. Accept the judgment of coaches and officials. This means to not yell or scream negative things about the rules or an official’s call. 
  8. Encourage all spectators to participate in the spirit of good sportsmanship. This means to LEAD by your actions!  Be positive with your actions and speech. 
  9. Avoid the use, abuse, and resulting negative influence of drugs, including alcohol and tobacco.   
  10. Posters/Signs/Banners/Theme Nights/Creative Chants - Need to be pre-approved by Mr. Kress, Mr. Gammon, Mrs. Potts, or Mr. O’Keefe
  11. No noisemakers allowed in the gym 
  12. No confetti or smoke bombs allowed in the gym 
  13. Only constant noise is allowed during a foul shot

Mask Policy:
Three strike Policy - Two warnings will be given. On the third warning you will be asked to leave the game.  If someone has a second offense to the Mask Policy they will not be allowed back for two active athletic scheduled weeks.  If a person has a third offense to the Mask Policy they will not be allowed to return for the rest of the season.

Fan Behavior:
Three strike Policy - Two warnings will be given. On the third warning you will be asked to leave the game.  If someone has a second offense to the Fan Behavior Policy they will not be allowed back for two active athletic scheduled weeks.  If a person has a third offense to the Fan Behavior Policy they will not be allowed to return for the rest of the season.

Food & Drink Policy:
No food and drink are allowed in the Gym due to COVID 19 mask policy. Players may eat down by the auditorium before or between games.  Players must be 6 ft apart when eating.
