As a part of the district's ongoing strategic planning process, we have begun a process to review our vision and mission statements. The vision and mission statements will guide our strategic planning process that we will work through this coming spring and summer.

Through faculty meetings this fall, our faculty and staff have participated in a process to provide feedback on where we want to be as a school district. This week, a committee met to begin the process of reviewing and revising the vision and mission statements of the district.  This committee consisted of a parent, a member of the board of education, four teachers, four administrators, and the interim superintendent.  The members represented a broad cross-section of the school community from our youngest students to our oldest.

The proposed vision and mission will be open for public comment through December 23, 2022.  Following this public comment period, the committee will reassemble in January to consider the feedback and make a formal recommendation to the Board of Education for Board approval.

Vision
The Livonia Central School District will inspire all students to develop the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to become their best selves.

Mission
Together with the community, we create educational experiences in a safe, supportive and respectful environment where all students achieve and thrive.

If you have any feedback that you would like to provide the committee, please utilize this form to do so.
