It is with mixed emotions and gratefulness for his 20 years of service to Livonia Central School District that I write to you to announce that Mark Kress will be leaving Livonia to become the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics at Brighton Central School District. Mark will be starting this new role on January 8, 2024. Please see the attached letter from Mark to the school community announcing this transition.
Mark has been an integral part of our educational community, contributing not only as an outstanding health teacher but also as a passionate and effective Director of Physical Education and Athletics. His tireless efforts, commitment to excellence, and genuine care for our students have left an indelible mark on our district, shaping the lives of countless individuals. Most recently, Mark has dedicated countless hours to the design and planning of the new Saunders Sports Complex that will be opening for our students in the Spring of 2025. It is clear that his impact will be felt here for the years to come.
