COVID-19 Informational Update - 5/10/22
Please be aware that across upstate NY counties and within our schools, we are seeing an increase in positive COVID-19 cases. Our school nurses continue to do an outstanding job in monitoring positive cases and working with families. We are sharing this information today to ensure that you are aware of the increase in cases that our nurses are seeing over the last week or so.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms should not come to school or school activities until being tested and/or seeing a doctor. If you are in need of a COVID-19 test, please reach out to either school's main offices or nurses' offices as we have tests provided to us from NYS to share with our students and families.
If a student or staff member does test positive for COVID-19, there is a mandatory 5-day isolation period. Starting on day 6, students or staff can return to school if wearing a face covering for days 6-10.
