The High School Mathletes came in 2nd place at today's math competition! Congrats to Livonia's high scorers - Jessica F., AJ P., and John M.

💡🪼AP Biology students conducted an experiment using the genetic engineering technique called Transformation. They inserted a bioluminescent gene from a jellyfish into E.Coli bacteria which allowed the bacteria to uptake the plasmid and express the pGlo gene. Students needed to demonstrate real word scientific skills in order to display the transformation successfully. All groups in Mr. Humphrey's AP Biology classes were able to perform this technique successfully!

The Middle School Math Team was hard at work today during their competition. Livonia came in second.
