Wednesday Night Wrap-up 🏀In a Wednesday night contest, Marcus Whitman boys' basketball secured a 58-37 victory over Livonia. The standout performance of the night came from Whitman's Brayden Amadeo, who led all scorers with 17 points. Amadeo hit five 3-pointers and converted 2 of 3 free throws. Whitman's scoring efforts were well-rounded with Broderick Royston contributing 16 points, Logan Storms adding 12, and Myles Prendergast chipping in with 10. Livonia's scoring leader for the game was Thomas Stewart, who finished with 11 points. Despite a commendable defensive effort in the third and fourth quarters, Livonia struggled offensively, posting single-digit scoring in three consecutive quarters. Livonia head coach Jonah Martin comments, "Defensively, we know where we need to keep our opponent per quarter to stay competitive. Unfortunately, we only hit our benchmark in the final couple of quarters, which was too little too late. Additionally, we continue facing challenges on the offensive end. Scoring in single digits for three consecutive quarters is not up to our standard. Credit to Whitman for always being a formidable opponent and for capitalizing on their open shots tonight."

Monday Night Wrap Up 🏊‍♂️The Boys Swimming and Diving team topped Letchworth-Perry, 83-75. The team racked up 35 best times throughout the meet. Lane-chain swimmer of the meet was Dan McGrath for his personal best times in the 50 free and 100 backstroke. Next meet is at HFL in Thursday, 12/14. 🏀The Livonia Varsity Boys Basketball team dropped a couple of tough ones in their past two home match-ups. Facing Le Roy this past Friday, the team encountered a formidable post presence in Merritt Holly Jr., who poured in an impressive 43 points, contributing significantly to Le Roy's 76-60 victory. Livonia's Nicholas Coyle showcased his scoring ability with 21 points both attacking the basket and connecting from outside the arc. In another challenging game against Wayne, Livonia faced a dominant offensive display as Cam Blankenberg led Wayne with 27 points, guiding his team to a commanding 70-22 win. Wayne's sharpshooting, particularly their 9-16 accuracy from behind the arc, posed a significant challenge for Livonia's defense. “We are trying hard to keep perspective and use these setbacks against two really impressive programs to build resilience. Our journey is really just getting started,” comments Coach Martin.
