At last night’s meeting, the Livonia Board of Education:

 Appointed Kim Hally-Hettrick to fill the vacancy created by Dan McEnerney’s resignation. Kim will serve until the next regular election. Many in our community know Kim through her work with Friends of Livonia, and we are grateful for her willingness to volunteer her time in support of our schools.

Welcomed our two new student ex-officio Board members, Sydney K. and Matthew P., who gave their first monthly report to the Board. Their voices will help bring valuable student perspectives to the Board.
