District Update Regarding Recent Social Media Posts
Livonia Families,
I want to follow up regarding a social media post that has been widely shared alleging misconduct involving Livonia CSD employees.
The page responsible for the original post is not affiliated with law enforcement or any recognized child advocacy agency. Other pages resharing this information appear to be managed by the same source. This network of pages has previously been discredited by law enforcement agencies and is not a reliable source of information.
The post makes many allegations about current and former employees that are simply not based in fact. To the extent it references situations from many years ago, those matters are part of the public record and were addressed promptly by the District when they became known.
The unfortunate part of social media is that anyone can anonymously post anything as if it were factual and true. While we typically do not respond to misinformation so as to avoid giving it any credibility, the nature of these claims warrants a clear response.
To be direct:
- The District has not received any allegations of misconduct involving any Livonia CSD employee.
- Local law enforcement confirmed to us on April 10, 2026 that there are no current investigations involving Livonia CSD employees.
- The District did not allow an individual who is on the sex offender registry to attend or chaperone a field trip nor will it do so in the future.
We take student safety extremely seriously and respond promptly to any credible concern. As always, if you have a concern, please contact a building administrator or my office directly so it can be addressed appropriately.
For ongoing updates, or if you’d like to share this information with others, you can find it on our district website at www.LivoniaCSD.org
